David Sellars was born in Jersey, Channel Islands, where he still resides. He was educated locally before attending Nene College in Northampton, where he studied Sociology and Sport, and wrote a dissertation on football related violence. David Sellars was born in Jersey, Channel Islands, where he still resides. He was educated locally before attending Nene College in Northampton, where he studied Sociology and Sport, and wrote a dissertation on football related violence. He then studied fiction and playwriting with The Open University before a chance opportunity led him into the local tourism department. Here, he wrote copy for the official website, while managing PR for the UK, Dutch and German market, and was also involved in Sports Marketing. Further study ensued and he gained a Tourism Marketing Diploma before successfully completing a Masters Degree in Professional Writing from University College Falmouth. He not writes freelance and has two short stories in print with Quietus his first novel. Genres include dark romance, horror, thrillers, crime, fairy tales, travel and comedy.
