David Merlin-Jones, FRSA is a graduate of Exeter College, Oxford University where he studied History. He has published other Civitas reports including The closure of the Lynemouth aluminium smelter: an analysis (2012), Rock Solid? His work has been discussed on the BBC, including the World Service, and in City A.M., The Guardian, The Financial Times, The Sunday Times and Telegraph amongst others.
