David McLintock

David Robert McLintock (17 November 1930 - 16 October 2003) was a British scholar and translator of German literature. He was born in Barnsley, Yorkshire. He won a scholarship to study at Queen's College, Oxford, where he gained a First in French and German. He taught at Oxford University and then at Royal Holloway College.
