David Ades

David Ades lives in Adelaide with his wife Natasha, and his daughter Orli. He has been a regular reader at Friendly Street Poets since 1979, and has also served as a committee member and convenor, and co-edited the Friendly Street Poetry Reader 26 . David's poems have been published in a number of Friendly Street Readers and in many Australian literary magazines including Island , Blue Dog , Tirra Lirra , Wet Ink , Four W and Famous Reporter , as well as in the Rumanian magazine Vatra . David's poetry is also featured in the CD Adelaide 9, The Poetry of the City . His short story 'Dancing with Etti' won the 2005 Wirra Wirra Short Story Competition. See less
