Daniele Miano is Lecturer in Ancient History at the University of Sheffield. He studied in Rome, Pisa, Paris, and Manchester, obtaining his doctorate from the Scuola Normale Superiore at Pisa. Before coming to Sheffield, he held a Lectureship in Ancient History at Brasenose and St Anne's Colleges, Oxford, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at University College, Dublin.
