Daniel Nieh

Daniel Nieh is a writer and translator. He grew up in Portland, Oregon, and has also lived in China, Japan, Singapore, Mexico, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. He studied Chinese Literature at the University of Pennsylvania and the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. He studied Chinese Literature at the University of Pennsylvania and the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. He served as an interpreter at 2008 Beijing Olympics and also works as a contract linguist for the US Department of State.
