Dan Phillips has made his life-story into poetry, fiction and memoir for almost sixty years. After receiving his MA from San Francisco State University in 1965, he taught English in the junior college and as a poet-teacher with California Poets in the Schools and Santa Cruz's SPECTRA program in the public schools of Northern and Central California.
