Dan Furst, a professional astrologer for 39 years, has helped thousands of people find their undiscovered talents, unlock their love, activate their creativity and go with confidence and courage toward their goals. And now, thanks to the new locational art of Astrocartography (ACG), he brings his accurate, insightful readings for each unique individual's understanding of the best conditions of timing and navigating of life maps toward best spots on planet Earth. Born in New York, Dan has worked as an award-winning actor, astrologer and ceremonial artist in New York, Japan, Hawaii, India, Egypt and Peru. He travels extensively, and his public speeches and festival performances in the Americas, Europe, the Mideast and Asia have made him one of the world's most respected authorities on the astrology of our awakening into Aquarian spiritual consciousness. Since specializing in astrocartography in 2005, Dan's life has been an ongoing experiment in living, building relationships and traveling under his best planet lines, and the tough ones too, to test firsthand which pieces of ACG lore ring true, and which still need work. No one knows, teaches and employs astrocartography better or more personally than Dan. Beginning with his "Universal Festival Calendar" in 1998 - which is still updated monthly on his website - Dan has been writing about astrology. He is author of five books: Dance of the Moon (Llewellyn, 2009), Surfing Aquarius (Red Wheel Weiser, 2011) - in Spanish as Navegando por Acuario (Ediciones Obelisco, 2014) - and two so far in his Astrocartography series: Finding Your Best Places (Amazon, 2015) and Maps of Power (Amazon, 2016). In addition to astrocartology readings by Skype or in person, Dan is available to guide Moon Ceremonies, Ritual Theatre as a ceremonial artist and festival clown, and perform "An Evening with Rumi." As the first actor to play the beloved Sufi poet Jelal-ud-din Rumi on stage, this performance has enchanted audiences in the USA, Egypt and Peru. After seven years in the town of Pisac, in the Sacred Valley near Cusco, Peru, Dan is headed to a new home base in Guatemala. He is at work on new books in his Astrocartography series: Double Harmonies, about the sound science and sacred music of ancient Egypt, and From Hathor to Asklepius, about the birth of holistic medicine in the temple sites of Egypt, Turkey and Greece.
