DA Denckla is an artist, curator and teacher of Creative Writing at Los Angeles Film School. Founder of PraxinoscopeX in 2022, his work champions lost causes, forgotten legacies and quixotic protoromanticism. He plays with text, sound and image, as much as he can. Hiswork appears in Iowa Review, Hot Pink, Mudfish, Nothing in Particular, and other publications. Developer of artspaces including Center forPerformance Research, Brooklyn (2010). Founder, Simple Machines Records (now closed).
