He is sport fishing columnist for the Victoria Times-Colonist and has published articles in the Vancouver Sun, Maclean's, Outdoor Life, BC Outdoors, Western Sportsman, Outdoor Canada, Great Lakes Angler, North American Fisherman and many other publications. Reid has written nine previous books, including How to Catch Salmon and Fishing for Dreams . He lives in Victoria, BC.
