Since childhood, Cori has been an avid writer of short stories, poetry, and prose. Her passion is delighting early independent readers and middle-grade children with imaginative and inspiring stories, which is what she has set out to do with her first book, Lighthouse Cheese Factory . Cori is a staunch supporter of STEM and journalism, and is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. In her free time, she writes and supports charities, including United Way and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
