Colleen Dewhurst
Colleen Dewhurst (1924-1991) was a Canadian actress known for her electrifiying performances on stage and camera. A multiple Emmy Award-winning actress, she made appearances on shows such as Murphy Brown and films such as The Cowboys and Annie Hall . She also played the role of Marilla Cuthbert in Kevin Sullivan's adaptation of the novel Anne of Green Gables and reprised the role in its sequel, Anne of Avonlea.
