Colin C Kidd

Colin Kidd is Wardlaw Professor of Modern History at the University of St Andrews. His books include Subverting Scotland's Past (1993), British Identities before Nationalism (1999) and The Forging of Races (2006). He is a Fellow of both the British Academy and the Royal Society of Edinburgh. He was co-editor of the Scottish Historical Review between 1999 and 2004.
