Colin Barras
Colin Barras holds degrees in geology, paleobiology, and science communication, and a PhD in paleontology. He has been an editor of New Scientist magazine, and was hired by CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research) to write Hunting the Higgs , an introductory book on the science of the Large Hadron Collider and the discovery of the Higgs Boson particle. He writes for BBC Worldwide, including the BBC Future and BBC Earth websites. He lives in Ann Arbor, MI.
