Christopher H. Pyle teaches constitutional law and civil liberties at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts. In 1970, as a former captain in army intelligence, he disclosed the military's surveillance of civilian politics and helped to end it by working for Senator Sam J.
