Christian Riese Lassen
Lassen was chosen the official artist of the Honolulu Marathon in 1989. In 1990, he established Sea Vision, a non-profit ecological organization to which he donates a portion of the proceeds from his artwork. In addition to being a painter and an environmental activist, Lassen is the world's ninth-ranked pro surfer. He competes in windsurfing as well.
