Chip Poakeart has worked on the production side of publishing for over 20 years, and decided to put his love of animals to use on the creative side. Endangered Animals World Tour is his first book, which was inspired by many trips to the Bronx Zoo and other zoos in the New York City area. He lives with his wife, Heidi, in Westchester County, New York.
