Judge Chile Eboe-Osuji is the former President of the International Criminal Court (ICC), as well as a judge in both the trial and the appellate Divisions of the Court during a tenure that lasted nine years. Before his appointment to the ICC judiciary, Eboe-Osuji served as the senior legal advisor to the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva. Before his appointment to the ICC judiciary, Eboe-Osuji served as the senior legal advisor to the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva.
