Her research uses a social cognitive neuroscience approach to examine how individuals perceive members of different social groups, and how these perceptions differ based on contextual information such as stereotypes. Dr. Dickter also examines how the cognitive processes involved in the processing of drug-related stimuli are affected by exposure, craving, and motivation.
