Cheryl Boyce-Taylor is the author of five previous collections of poetry-- We Are Not Wearing Helmets, Raw Air, Night When Moon Follows, Convincing the Body , and Arrival --and a memoir and poetic tribute to her son, Mama Phife Represents .
