Chas Gerretsen

CHAS GERRETSEN , born in 1943 in Groningen, is a Dutch photographer who worked as a photojournalist and publicity photographer. After stints in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Chile--where he covered the coup d'�tat by General Pinochet--he moved to Hollywood where he was hired as a still photographer for the movie Apocalypse Now . His iconic images from the set are included in the Blue Ray release of Apocalypse Now--Final Cut .
