Charles Oliver Green was raised on a farm in northeast Saskathceewan. He enrolled in agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan obtaining a BSA and MSc specializing in horticulture and subsequently a writing diploma. Charles Oliver Green was raised on a farm in northeast Saskathceewan. He enrolled in agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan obtaining a BSA and MSc specializing in horticulture and subsequently a writing diploma. After employment with federal government services and a private garden pea seed operation in Brooks, Alberta he retuned to Saskatchewan as Supervisor of Irrigated Crop Production at Outlook promoting special crops suitable for irrigation including vegetables. After leaving government service he engaged in growing fresh vegetables for the commercial market and established a garden centre and landscape operation, Broderick Garden Centre, which his daughter and son in law, Kim and Paul Olson, continue to operate. He is married to wife Velma and has a daughter Kimberley Ann and a son Warren Kevin. They are proud grandparents to five grandchildren Tori, Travis, Scott, Heidi and Tiffany and proud great grandparents to four great grandchildren, Charlie, Chace, Millie and Isabelle. See less
