Author Charles W. Brilvitch, a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, has spent decades researching and writing on the southwestern Connecticut coast, especially the Bridgeport environs. Author Charles W. Brilvitch, a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, has spent decades researching and writing on the southwestern Connecticut coast, especially the Bridgeport environs. Retained by Bridgeport's Paugussett Tribe as an official tribal historian, Brilvitch has previously published several titles on the Bridgeport region, including Walking Through History (Seaports of Black Rock and Southport) and Lithograph Views of Bridgeport 1860.
