Cathy Johnson is an animal lover and self-confessed dog enthusiast. She is on a mission to share her experience and knowledge of dog obedience and training with dog owners who may be struggling, just like she once did. After losing her first pet dog in what could have been an avoidable road accident, Cathy blamed herself for the tragedy. She realised it was her lack of control over her beloved companion which rendered her helpless to steer her dog from danger on that fateful day. Cathy began to research dog behaviour, becoming fascinated with understanding the language of canines. Over the years, she condensed her knowledge and experience into a clever approach with some simple rules; and has gone on to help many more families transform their relationships with their seemingly "naughty" dogs. Cathy lives in Sydney, Australia, with her husband, two children and one extremely well-behaved, caramel-coloured Cockapoo, Zara - quite easily the most obedient member of their family. See less
