Caroline van Eck, University of Cambridge Caroline van Eck studied art history at the Ecole du Louvre in Paris, and classics and philosophy at Leiden University. She obtained a PhD in aesthetics at the University of Amsterdam in 1994. She has been a Visiting Fellow at the Warburg Institute and the Paul Mellon Centre for British Art at Yale University, a Visiting Professor in Ghent, Yale, York, and the Ecole Normale Sup�rieur in Paris, and in 2018 held the Panofsky Chair at the Zentralinstitut f�r Kunstgeschichte in Munich.
