Carol Potter grew up on a dairy farm in NW Connecticut; she's a Vermont resident, formerly of Los Angeles after years in Western Massachusetts-hence the variety of landscapes and creatures in these pages. Other awards include a Pushcart Award and residencies at Yaddo, MacDowell, The Fundaci--n Valpara'so, and Millay Colony of the Arts.
