Bruce Templeton is an investment advisor, a Rotarian, a past chair of the St. John's Board of Trade and former regional manager for the Bowring retail chain. For the past thirty-eight years he has made approximately fifty Santa visits a season, often in circumstances where Santa's presence, as Bruce puts it, can make the "not so normal" seem "normal" again, for at least a little while. A strong believer in the healing power of the season, he was inducted into the International Santa Claus Hall of Fame, class of 2014, and is currently Canada's only living member.
