Bruce Brodie studied art at Yale and moved to New York in 1976, the Bicentennial year. Getting an MFA at Columbia, he painted while working pick up jobs. Bruce Brodie studied art at Yale and moved to New York in 1976, the Bicentennial year. Getting an MFA at Columbia, he painted while working pick up jobs. Eventually shifting gears, Bruce got an MBA at NYU Stern School of Business. In the tradition of Charles Ives, another Yale graduate who was famously in insurance, Bruce went deep cover for forty years, and worked his way up to various executive positions at four Fortune companies and as a strategy consultant. Bruce lived and worked in New York for fifteen years before moving to New Jersey, Chicago and then Connecticut and Massachusetts. He and his wife raised three children, now grown. See less
