Brian T. W. Way was born in Prince Edward County, just south of Belleville, Ontario, where his Loyalist ancestors came to settle in the 1780s. Way attended Queen's University and Western, spending much of his working life in Education. Way has had scholarly articles and monographs published on a range of topics in literature and education including Passages to Literature, a series of teaching manuals, Print Preview, an undergraduate research and writing guide, and The Fiction of Fishing, a critical study of the American metafictionist Richard Brautigan. County Time, a play about Prince Edward County and redirection, a selection of poetry, have been published recently. And a couple plays and a collection of short fiction are in the works. See less
