Dr. Brian King is a professor of political science at Muskingum University, where he has taught courses in American politics and international relations since 2000. Dr. Brian King is a professor of political science at Muskingum University, where he has taught courses in American politics and international relations since 2000. He has previously taught at the University of Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky University, Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis and IUPU at Columbus, where he received the Jacqueline D. Franz Excellence in Teaching Award. Dr. King's research includes work on teaching and learning and on civic engagement. At Muskingum, he helped to create the Center for Teaching & Learning and served as one of its first faculty fellows. Additionally, he helped to create and continues to co-direct the John and Annie Glenn Public Service Fellows Program. He also coordinates the pre-law program. He earned a B.A. in political science and philosophy from Ohio Northern University, and a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Cincinnati. See less
