Brenda Vanderhoof has lived a plant-based lifestyle for 40 years. She is the mother of four children, and she raised them as vegetarians. In addition to cooking practical, affordable, healthy, and delicious foods at home, Brenda owned a health food store and did healthful cooking classes, as well as some personal chef work. She loves gardening and grows some of her own produce. Her aim in writing Gatherings is to share her experiences and make the healthy, plant-based path easier for others.
