Brenda K. Jernigan began her writing career in the early 1990's and joined the Romance Writers of America and Carolina Romance Writers shortly thereafter. She has been active in both organizations ever since, attending RWA's conferences in New York and Dallas and moderating the workshop, "Quitting your Daytime Job." In addition, she is the current President of Outreach International Romance Writers and works as a Logistics Manager for This End Up Furniture Company. Ms. Jernigan's novels have done quite well for themselves in competition. She was the winner and runner-up in The California Gold Contest and placed third in The Fool for Love Contest. Her novels also placed third in both The Great Expectations Contest and Harlequin's Love and Laughter Contest. Her latest title, THE DUKE'S LADY, is an April/May release from Kensington Publishing. The author's wish is that all of her readers are able to find a little love in their busy lives. A portion of all profits from Brenda's books are donated to Hospice in the memory of her mother who died of breast cancer at a young age. See less
