Breandan O hEithir

O hEithir left University College Galway before completing his degree, opting instead for a peripatetic life, working as a labourer in England, then on fishing trawlers. His prolific, wide-ranging literary career started with a six-year stint as Irish Editor for the Irish Press and Irish language editor for publishing house Sairseal agus Dill. He went on to become a newspaper columnist, a sports commentator and, a novelist.
