Bob Alford was born and raised in Connecticut. After serving four years in the US Army, he earned both AAS and BSEE degrees. He spent most of his career as a software engineer and serial entrepreneur, always pushing the envelope of technology. Bob Alford was born and raised in Connecticut. After serving four years in the US Army, he earned both AAS and BSEE degrees. He spent most of his career as a software engineer and serial entrepreneur, always pushing the envelope of technology. During this period his publications included numerous technical papers and a non-fiction book on engineering management. In 1990 he relocated to San Diego, California with his wife and three daughters. He resided there for 18 years, raising his children, while starting and managing several companies. In 2008 he and his wife Muriel relocated to Peoria, Arizona where he pursues his primary interests of writing, world travel, and high technology. See less
