BISWAJEET PATTANAYAK (Ph.D., D.Litt. in Industrial and Organisational Psychology) is the Vice Chancellor of KIIT - Deemed University, and Director and ZCS Consulting Chair Professor in HRM, IBAT School of Management of KIIT, Bhubaneswar. Prior to joining KIIT, he was the Director, Indian Institute of Bank Management (IIBM), Guwahati. A former Professor and Chairperson of Human Resource Management at IIM Indore, he also served with distinction at IIM Lucknow and NITIE, Mumbai, and with leading organizations like SAIL and the ESSAR Group. Professor Pattanayak's presentation on Team Building and Leadership, based on the Oscar nominated Hindi movie Lagaan at the 62nd Annual Convention of International Council of Psycho-logists from 3rd to 6th August 2004, was highly appreciated. Professor Pattanayak has more than 75 research publications to his credit in such prestigious journals as Organizational Development Journal (USA), HRD International (UK), International Journal of Psychology (UK), and International Journal of HRD & Management (UK). He is also the author of 16 books.
