Bill Meyer has over forty years of practical experience observing, writing about, and teaching job-search skills, with articles published in The National Business Employment Weekly. Meyer grew up in St. Louis. He began his college education at Purdue University, and accepted a regular Naval Officers Training Corps Scholarship at the University of Missouri, where he received both bachelor's and master's degrees in industrial engineering. After graduation, Meyer served for three years as a naval officer on the aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea . After his navy service, Meyer spent over forty years in telecommunications management and consulting, working for AT&T, Seagate Technology, PG&E, Transamerica and Andersen, and Gartner Consulting. Later, as an adjunct professor, he taught business ethics at San Francisco State University and business communications at California State University Monterey Bay. Meyer and his wife live in Pebble Beach, California. They have three children and three grandchildren. See less
