Bill Aitken

Bill Aitken came to India from Britain as a student of Comparative Religion in 1959. The moment he set eyes on the Himalayas he decided to spend the rest of his life in their presence. He is honorary librarian of the Himalaya Club and author of Seven Sacred Rivers, Travels By A Lesser Line, The Nanda Devi Affair, Mountain Delight and Exploring Indian Railways.
