Bianca Smith serves as an advocate for justice and equity in health care and education. She is passionate about increasing mental health awareness and acceptance. Bianca is a Master of Social Work candidate at Baylor University's Garland School of Social Work (Houston, TX). She also attended Sam Houston State University (Huntsville, TX) where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2012. The author struts her Bear Pride and recruit's professionals for Baylor University's Houston Campus. She also volunteers with the Anthony Graves Foundation. In April 2012, Bianca was named a Criminal Justice Honor Student at Sam Houston State University. In 2015, Bianca earned the Texas Department of Criminal Justice's George J. Beto Award for Academic Excellence. In April 2018, Bianca was inducted into the Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society and elected Secretary that same month. Bianca resides in Houston, TX.
