His paper "India's Energy Security: A Comparative Analysis of Petroleum and Nuclear Energy" was declared as the Best Research Paper in India Social Science Congress for the Strategic and Defence Studies, 2006. Recently he has written a chapter entitled "Energy Security Imperatives in South Asia", in SOUTH ASIA DEFENCE AND STRATEGIC YEAR BOOK 2009. He has presented many papers in the national and international conferences. He got laurels for his work "Energy Security and India-China Cooperation", presented at 2nd International Energy Economics conference held in November 2008 at Perth, Australia.
