Having drawn her entire life, Beth Jorgensen works regularly in watercolor, ink, oils, pencil, and charcoal. Her most recent major body of work was called "buzz and hum," which explored various emotional and surreal themes in nature. Her most recent major body of work was called "buzz and hum," which explored various emotional and surreal themes in nature. She has always been drawn to contemporary artwork that employs elements of subtle humor and whimsy. Her own work runs a wide and oftentimes provocative spectrum ranging from childish to realistic and everything in between. Originally from a small town in Virginia, she moved to Arizona in 1995 to attend school for graphic design. She returned to college at Arizona State University in 2003 to obtain her BFA (completed in 2007). Beth currently exhibits her oils, watercolors, and various other works throughout the Phoenix area.
