Bertram I. Spector is the Director of Management Systems International 's Center for Governmental Integrity in Washington, DC and Executive Director of the Center for Negotiation Analysis. He has over 30 years of consulting, research and practical field experience in anti-corruption and integrity programs, transparency and accountability programs, public policy mediation and negotiation, and conflict resolution and decision-making support in countries in Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, Africa, Latin America, and Asia. Dr. Spector has designed and conducted many corruption surveys and assessments and has coordinated closely on anti-corruption programs with the World Bank, US Agency for International Development, US State Department, OECD, Transparency International, UNDP, and the Council of Europe. Dr. Spector is the Editor-in-Chief of "International Negotiation: A Journal of Theory and Practice" (Martinus Nijhoff Publishers). His most recent book is "Getting It Done: Post-Agreement Negotiation and International Regimes" (Washington, DC: United States Institute of Peace Press, 2003, co-edited with I. W. Zartman).
