Bernard Parke
Bernard Parke is an Honorary Alderman of the Borough of Guildford and served as a borough councillor for 12 years. He was Mayor and then Deputy Mayor in 1989 and 1991. A Guildfordian by birth, he is passionate about the town and its wellbeing. He is a regular writer of campaigning letters to the local media. A retired bank manager, Bernard now enjoys spending time with his young grandchildren and also enjoys rifle shooting at the NRA at Bisley in Surrey.
