Benjamin Wells, Ph.D., is currently a professor at the University of San Francisco where he teaches computer science and mathematics. He also serves as Faculty Scholar at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and is a visiting scholar at the University of California's Department of Mathematics in Berkeley. As one of the last students to study under the famed logician Alfred Tarski, Dr. Wells focuses his mathematical and scientific expertise on the academic boundaries shared by algebra, logic, and computing. His additional areas of research include hypercomputation, computer graphics, and historical computers. For the past decade, Dr. Wells has directed the Graduate Computer Science Program at the University of San Francisco, where he advises and coaches students interested in taking the GRE Computer Science Test.
