Bengt Danielsson
Bengt Danielsson was born in Sweden and holds a doctorate in anthropology from the University of Uppsala. A member of the Kon-Tiki expedition, Danielsson returned to the South Seas in order to study Polynesian culture. After a short stint in Hawaii, he moved permanently to Tahiti, where he lived with his family until he died in 1997.
