After graduate work in western Canadian history, hefounded Great Plains Research Consultants, a Calgary firm specializingin historical research, planning and interpretation. Since 1977, he haswritten widely about our past, and helped heritage preservation groupsthroughout Western Canada and the North tell their special stories to abroader audience. He currently lives in Calgary.
