Barbara Sheklin Davis
Barbara Sheklin Davis is a writer, editor, and educator. Professor emerita of Onondaga Community College, she authored two books about Central New York communities (Syracuse African Americans and The Jewish Community of Syracuse), two about Parkinson's disease, and three about Jewish education and Jewish life. For 27 years, she headed the Syracuse Hebrew Day School. This book's images come from the Onondaga Historical Association and files of the various iterations of the symphony in Syracuse.
