Barbara Davies

Barbara Davies is Headteacher of Washingborough Foundation Primary School in Lincolnshire. She has held a number of previous headships and has also worked in higher education, first as a senior lecturer in initial teacher education and, following this, as course leader for a Masters degree in leadership and learning at the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside. She was awarded the Best Practitioner Research Award in 2004 by the National College of School Leadership and was given a commendation in the National Teaching Awards in 2006 for Primary Headteacher in the East Midlands region.
