Dr. Asmita Das completed her PhD from School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University and thereafter joined National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, National Institutes of Health, USA for a postdoctoral position for about 5 years. Dr. Asmita Das completed her PhD from School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University and thereafter joined National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, National Institutes of Health, USA for a postdoctoral position for about 5 years. She has published several high impact peer reviewed papers including Immunity (IF: 21), Autophagy (IF: 11), Journal of Immunology (IF: 5.6) (top 10% articles in the journal in 2010) and many others. She serves on the editorial board of several peer reviewed journals. She has been actively involved in Industry- Academia partnership, including research guidance of industry personnel.
