Ashley King graduated from Coventry University with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Illustration and Animation. Ashley has illustrated three middle-grade fiction titles in the UK - Erica's Elephant , The Bookshop Girl and Kaye Umansky's Witch for a Week . Lazy Daisy - published by Little Hare in 2019 - was his first picture book. Ashley lives in Warwickshire, UK and also works as a children's bookseller at Waterstones.
