Arnold L Sweet
Dr. Arnold Sweet is a retired professor from the Purdue University School of Industrial Engineering. He and his family moved to West Lafayette, Indiana, in 1960, when he received a Ford Foundation Fellowship that enabled him to start working on his doctorate degree. He had always been a collector, and he started to collect postcards from Tippecanoe County. Dr. Arnold Sweet is a retired professor from the Purdue University School of Industrial Engineering. He had always been a collector, and he started to collect postcards from Tippecanoe County. He joined the Indianapolis Postcard Club in 1975, and they have greatly helped him in growing his collection. He has given lectures using his collection at meetings of the Wabash Area Lifetime Learning Association. He is a member of the Tippecanoe County Historical Association.
